 Who am I? My name is Russell Jenkins and I have over 24 years’ experience as a fully qualified Sports Injury Therapist, specialising in injury treatment and prevention. I carry out in excess of 2,400 treatments a year. I work purely on referrals (from patients and their friends/family and doctors alike) and my patients range from professional athletes and the Weekend sportsman, from an 18 month baby to a 90 year old, men, women and children alike. Every job imaginable including Oil rig workers and Circus Trapeze artists, musicians to miners. One thing they all have in common is an injury that has caused structural and soft tissue damage.

 What do I offer? My philosophy is very simple, it is to treat the problem not the symptom. My belief is that all injury results from ‘postural muscle imbalance’. This can and is caused by work, sport, illness, surgery and accidents, all resulting in certain muscles getting too tight while others are over stretched and weak, ultimately causing the joints in your body, particularly your pelvis to be pulled out of shape.
